Monty’s Maggie’s Appeal, Aberdeen

Rigmar Services held a raffle at its 2nd Annual Golf Outing on 18 August to help raise funds for Monty’s Maggie’s Appeal in Aberdeen.

The raffle took place after the official prize giving at the club house at Meldrum House Golf Club in front of over 30 oil and gas guests invited to attend Rigmar’s annual golf outing.

Rigmar Services, based in East Tullos, provides a single source service solution to the mobile offshore drilling fleet, worldwide.  Offering total management solutions, Rigmar Services provides asset integrity, inspection, specialised repair and maintenance services to the oil, gas and energy industries, all delivered through its highly skilled and diverse workforce.

Robert Dalziel, Managing Director commented, “We had a fantastic day on Thursday at Meldrum House Golf Club.  The Porsche 911, which was offered up as a prize for a hole-in-one, unfortunately went unclaimed this year.”  Each guest took time looking around the fabulous white Porsche 911 Carrera S before teeing off the 10th hole.  There were one or two close calls but alas, all went wide of the pin, but who knows what performance car Robert Dalziel will offer next year – a Lamborghini, Ferrari GT or perhaps an Audi R8?

The Monty’s Maggie's Appeal charity is about empowering people to live with, through and beyond cancer by bringing together professional help, communities of support and building design to create exceptional centres for cancer care.  Nicola Watson, Community Fundraiser for Aberdeen says, “we are delighted that Rigmar have decided to support us with their event, and we are so pleased to accept the £400 raised from their raffle on the day.  Every donation brings us one step closer to bringing a Maggie’s Centre to the people of Aberdeen and the support of companies such as Rigmar are bringing closer all the time – thank you to everyone involved in the event.”
