2nd Rigmar Golf Outing 18 August 2011

Rigmar Services is delighted to confirm the prize of a stunning Porsche 911 Carrera S for any Rigmar guest achieving a hole-in-one, at Rigmar’s second annual golf outing to be held at Meldrum House Golf Club on Thursday August 18th 2011.

Rigmar Services, based in East Tullos, provides a single source service solution to the mobile offshore drilling fleet, worldwide.  Offering total management solutions, Rigmar Services provides:

  • Project management
  • Engineering & surveys
  • Inspection
  • Construction
  • Specialist access
  • Painting and coatings

to the oil, gas and energy industries, all delivered through its highly skilled and diverse workforce.

Announcing confirmation of their second annual golf outing, Managing Director Robert Dalziel has once again offered up a high profile car if anyone succeeds in making a hole in one.  Rigmar’s second golf outing is to be held at Meldrum House Golf Club.  “Everyone was definitely more attentive last year when Porsche kindly sponsored our hole-in-one with a brand new Porsche Boxster, so I decided to raise the bar for 2011,” Robert goes on to add that, “this year the prize is a white 911 Carrera S with over £11,000 of extras included.”

Although there were a few close calls last year, no one achieved the hole-in-one.  However for Rigmar’s second golf outing, Robert has made a bold move, “it would be great if one of our guests managed to play a hole in one so instead of offering the prize on the 18th hole, which is a very difficult hole to play anyway, I’ve decided to offer the Porsche 911 on the 10th hole.  I know this is an easier hole because last year a young lad nailed it right  in front of me!”

Rigmar Services is founded on extensive oil industry experience and every member of its highly skilled team has a wealth of local and worldwide industry knowledge.  With over 25 years extensive experience, Rigmar has cultured great working relationships with several unique companies who provide tailored global support to the engineering industry with facilities strategically located in Ghana, South Korea, Poland and Namibia.  It is exactly this synergy which allows Rigmar to implement its Total Project Solutions philosophy and, as a result, is able to pass on competitive rates to its clients.

With over 20 guests arriving on Thursday 18th August at Meldrum House Golf Club to tee off after lunch, a Porsche 911 will be parked near the 10th hole for all guests to admire with a detailed specification of the brand new, made to order model, inside.  “What better way to focus the mind and raise your game than to have a top-end sports car there at your side” comments Robert.

With an official adjudicator flying in from England and with Meldrum House Golf Club’s official Pro, David Mann managing the 10th hole to win a stunning Porsche 911, Rigmar Services’ guests are set for a very exclusive golf outing this year.
