Accounts Assistants

The Rigmar Group is seeking to recruit two experienced Accounts Assistants. These roles would ideally suit candidates with more than four years’ experience in an accounts working environment.

The Rigmar Group provides a comprehensive range of services to the civils, offshore oil and gas, marine, and renewables industries, including:

  • engineering and design, inspection, coatings and preservation, specialist access, fabrication, construction, and accommodation
  • marine consultancy and assurance, project management, naval architecture, survey and positioning, mooring equipment rental and services, risk management, resources management and project engineering services.

JOB POSITION ONE

Responsibilities

  • to provide assistance with accounts payable invoice processing including sub-contractors and the weekly payroll function.

This role will support team members to ensure the effective and timely processing of financial transactions, ensuring continued compliance with statutory and regulatory financial requirements.

Key roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • processing of purchase invoices, ensuring compliance with the company’s purchasing policies and approvals
  • Processing of sub-contractor invoices in accordance with timesheets and approvals
  • Calculation of wages using the company’s Financial Management System for temporary employees and processing payments
  • Completion of daily, weekly and month end processes and relevant reports

Qualifications/Skills

Applicants should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office package (Excel essential). Knowledge of OpenAccounts would be an advantage.

JOB POSITION TWO

Responsibilities

  • to create and post invoices and credit notes by project, maintain records up-to-date and chase payments as required.

Key roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • preparing and producing sales invoice packs for review and approval
  • raising sales invoicing through the company’s financial management system

Qualifications/Skills

Applicants should be experienced in all aspects of project invoicing, proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, and have the ability to support several projects at the same time. Knowledge of OpenAccounts would be an advantage.
